From all this I have read a lot about what ftp can do and how to use it once running but I haven't found anything specifically on setting it up to be used. I did check inetd.conf and it is activated in that file (most likely by default) and inetd is running but when you type in ftp://ftp.mydomain.com I get Netscape could not locate the server. where is the short manual for setting up ftp to work on my box?? I'm running Frebsd2.2.7 stable. where od I go?? Phil To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
