I plugged in my external USB drive this afternoon to be greeted with:

kernel: ugen4.2: <Sunplus Technology Inc.> at usbus4
kernel: umass0: <Bulk Only Interface> on usbus4
kernel: umass0: SCSI over Bulk-Only; quirks = 0x0000
kernel: umass0:3:0:-1: Attached to scbus3
kernel: xptioctl: pass driver is not in the kernel
kernel: xptioctl: put "device pass" in your kernel config file

Er .. my kernel includes 'GENERIC' and does not exclude 'device pass'.

What gives?

	Michael
