Not as far as I'm aware.  You would want to be compatible with FTL 
(Flash Translation Layer), which is based on M-Systems' TrueFFS, which 
is very tightly controlled.

FTL was pulled from the PCCARD '95 spec (because of patent issues with 
M-systems), but their blurb says that it's now included.  It looks like 
it's time for us to get a new copy of the spec (perhaps a subscription 
even).

(I've checked in the stuff that Nate loaned me, and it's not there, 
 sorry.)

If you're interested in doing this, pester me again when I get back 
from Australia (try around the 20th or so) and I'll get onto it.  We've 
been meaning to do this for a while now.
