Problem:  If an attempt is made to edit a protected cell the Calc applicati=
on
enters a tight loop condition and locks the entire mate desktop.

How to reproduce:

Open spreadsheet
enter data in a cell
protect the sheet
edit the data in the now protected cell

Expected behaviour:
Display a warning message to the effect that protected cells cannot be edit=
ied.

Observed behaviour:
Calc application becomes non-responsive as does the entire desktop.=20=20

Work around applied:
Log onto desktop from remote host and kill oosplash process.
