So update your config file to use "device wcd" instead of "device acd". Am I right in thinking that this only applies to people who are _not_ using Soren's new IDE/ATA/ATAPI driver? I ask because I don't use acd at all, I use the recommended atapicd. So I assume that this doesn't apply to me. Old and new are confusing terms in the light of the fact that there are no less than 3 drivers available for ATAPI devices. :-) Ciao, Sheldon.
