Hi! I have installed the additions a lot of times and try everithing that cames to mind, but im missing somethink. I test FreeBSD 10-3 and 11-0 installing the additions from ports and with pkg (they are 2 different versions). The services vboxguest and vboxservice are running (service -l and ps -A) But i can not access to the machine from the host with VBoxManage Im testing this command: .\VBoxManage.exe --nologo guestcontrol "<machine name>" --username test1 --password test1 mkdir test The answer is always -> VBoxManage.exe: error: The specified user was not able to logon on guest VBoxManage.exe: error: Details: code VBOX_E_IPRT_ERROR (0x80bb0005), component GuestSessionWrap, interface IGuestSession, callee IUnknown VBoxManage.exe: error: Context: "WaitForArray(ComSafeArrayAsInParam(aSessionWaitFlags), 30 * 1000, &enmWaitResult)" at line 938 of file VBoxManageGuestCtrl.cpp In all the manuals i see they talk about vboxusers. That group does not creates in any way in my cases. The files /usr/local/sbin/VBoxService and VBoxCommand are owned by wheel. Im quite new with freebsd, ok enougth with other distros of linux, not sure what im doing wrong here! please help! Thx a lot Victor
