Synopsis: -O5 flag breaks some compiles in /usr/src/lib/libc

State-Changed-From-To: open->closed

State-Changed-When: Sat Jan 1 13:30:45 GMT 2005
State-Changed-Why:
Quoting from /usr/share/examples/etc/make.conf :

# Note that optimization settings other than -O and -O2 are not recommended
# or supported for compiling the world or the kernel - please revert any
# nonstandard optimization settings to "-O" before submitting bug reports
# without patches to the developers.

A lot of other things are also likely to break at higher optimization
levels, which is why it is not supported.
