So that the volume is ok... Zero is not enough... Family motto... ;-)) ^^^ that was just a joke... Okay... And like it was said correctly: The recording source is to be set to the right value... In my system I can hear the audio signal with and without recording source set correctly... I mean: I just say "mixer cd 50" and then I can hear the TV audio signal... But maybe I have a funny audio card (VIA 8233 or so)... -Arne --- Molnár Csaba wrote: > On Monday 24 October 2005 15.31, Georg Bege wrote: > I don't see the recording source line in your mixer output, like > in here: > > mcsaba@mcsaba$ mixer > Mixer vol is currently set to 80:80 > Mixer pcm is currently set to 79:79 > Mixer speaker is currently set to 75:75 > Mixer line is currently set to 75:75 > Mixer mic is currently set to 0:0 > Mixer cd is currently set to 75:75 > Mixer rec is currently set to 0:0 > Mixer ogain is currently set to 50:50 > Mixer line1 is currently set to 75:75 > Mixer phin is currently set to 0:0 > Mixer phout is currently set to 0:0 > Recording source: mic > > If you plugged the audio cable in line in, you should try: > > mixer =rec line > > > Thanks for your reply, > > > > I connect the audio cable from the tv card in line-in. > > > > Arne > "W" > wrote: > > >--- Georg Bege wrote: > > >>I've a problem on FreeBSD 6.0-RC1 with an cheap TV card, > > >> > > >>bktr0: mem 0xec000000-0xec000fff irq 21 at > > >>device 10.0 > > >>on pci2 > > >>bktr0: [GIANT-LOCKED] > > >>bktr0: Card has no configuration EEPROM.
