I just grabbed the ytalk port from /pub/FreeBSD/ports-2.1.5/net. When I run make, it complains about xmkmf not found. It appears that it's trying to make an X version of ytalk. I just want the regular character based version. The README file in pkg/ytalkxxxx says that if you don't want the X version and or don't have xmkmf, just change the top of the makefile. But - I can't find exactly what changes to make to the makefile! Any help is most appreciated! J. West Unix *IS* user friendly; It's just selective about who it's friends are!
