I sent this message a couple of days ago, but I think it didn't make it
onto the list, so I'm trying again. I've since installed 2.2.6-BETA on
two other machines, with the same result.

Subject: root filesystem changes

Well, I did a cvsup and make world yesterday, and now I'm running
2.2.6-BETA! As expected (from reading messages on this list), I was
advised upon bootup to modify /etc/fstab to use wd0s2a for /,which I did.
Now I notice the kernel reporting: "changing root device to wd0s3a" at
boot time. Can this be right? There are only two partitions on the drive:
dos on wd0s1 and FreeBSD on wd0s2. Where did wd0s3a come from?

Andre
