I've tried your reproducer, but it doesn't crash for me at all.  I ran this=
 on
12.0-CURRENT r315331 amd64, using clang 3.6.1, 3.7.1, 3.8.0, 3.9.0, 3.9.1 a=
nd
4.0.0.

Maybe your clang executable is bad somehow, for example it could have been
compiled for an incompatible CPU?  Can you run it in a debugger, or under
valgrind, to see a stack trace?
