Hmm - weird.  The pass0 device *was* in the kernel, but I've
added pt0 and sctarg0 (if that's what it's called) and *now* I
get the pass0/1/2 devices probed correctly on startup.

However, the net results are the same as before...  :(

Any other ideas?
