Oh, i'm sorry, forgot the link:

As you can see there was already a try to bring it to a current (and 
supported) 1.9.x version, but it failed and the maintainership was 
dropped. :/

I could help in creating a new port with magento 2. But i have not this 
much time so it will take a while ;)
