Correct me if I am wrong, but the pupose here is not to finish make world
in short time.  I have seen sub-minute before :-)

The purpose is to understand what makes a given, known task run faster.


Taking a major components out reminds me of RDBMS benchmark wors where
vendor I disables logging in the database engine and ends up running more
than twice as fast as vendor O, causing quite a hysteria for few days.
