I am writing an update for the port as I type this, I have also mirrored the current version on my own server. the master ftp sites should have mirrored the older file, I'm not sure why it wasnt. Maybe it was removed before they had a chance to pull it. I will try to submit patches for this on a monthly basis, as I use vlc myself and like to keep current. I have CC'd the maintainer for this thread, as he should be informed.
