As I am already on lots of NetBSD email lists, I really do not want to join any FreeBSD lists (the FreeBSD machine I'd like to upgrade belongs to my girlfriend), so could someone please forward this along to the appropriate list? Thank you, John Klos ---------- Forwarded message ---------- Date: Mon, 1 Jan 2001 18:20:15 -0500 (EST) From: John Klos To: webmaster@freebsd.org Subject: Broken link... Hello, on the http://www.freebsd.org/ports/ page, the 4.0 to 4-stable upgrade kit is improperly linked. The link points to ftp://ftp.freebsd.org/pub/FreeBSD/ports/i386/packages-4-stable/Latest/40upgrade.tgz which does not exist. There is a 4.1upgrade.tgz, but apparently this doesn't work with 4.0.
