It's not doing a scan and finding the IBSS, so it doesn't bother joining it. Andriy and I worked on fixing this up, and it should work in -HEAD now, but= now we're not filtering enough stuff and we end up trying to do IBSS merges and populating the node table with other nodes where it's not appropriate.
