   All of the above is supported in FreeBSD. We're using a somewhat similar
configuration on wcarchive (P6, multiple aha-2940). If you chose FreeBSD,
you'll definately want to upgrade to 2.1-stable, however, as the 2940 driver
is much more solid.

   I'm not sure that it is. The systems should be roughly similar security
wise.
