However I cannot get X configured on this thing despite trying all methods in the handbook (http://www.freebsd.org/doc/en_US.ISO8859-1/books/handbook/x-config.html), and from /stand/sysinstall. Here is specs of the machine: HP OmniBook XE2 Pentium 2 366MHz, 128 MB Ram, 6.4 GB HDD Graphics: 13.3 inch XGA Active-matrix (TFT) display (1024x768x64K colors) SMI Lynx SM811 Graphics controller, 2MB 135MHz SGRAM Zoomed Video support / Dual Monitor support If there is any further info I can provide, please let me know. There isn't any Gnome or KDE installed as yet, but all of XFree86 files and dependancies were installed and portupgraded successfully only today. Thanks for the time, sorry about the double post.
