Quick question. What is the max length of the name field for an entry in /etc/passwd? If the name is too long, /usr/sbin/pwd_mkdb will fail with an error so i need to know how long it can be. Thanks in advance. With best regards, Mike Fahey - Systems Administration ******************************************************************** ENTER.NET - "The Road to the Internet Starts Here!"
