Does FreeBSD support Enhanced IDE harddrives? The documentation only
says IDE and hopefully you have just forgotten to update it.

I have a LX750 486 PCI motherboard with builtin EIDE interface and four
harddisks, three Maxtor 72004AP and a Seagate ST3283A.

A Conner Tapestor 250M with QIC-80 tapes DC2120.

Can Linux source be compiled into FreeBSD binaries without changes?

Thanks in advance for your help.
