For Compaq's in general you want to set the operating system iin the BIOS
to Novell Netware SMP or else it doesnt work right. I havent yet seen a
Compaq server that will boot SMP if you dont do this.

Mind you, if yours is booting then this may not help as the symtomn I
have seen is that it just locks up when trying to start the 2nd CPU.
