>Description:

When the laptop resumes after a suspend caused by an ACPI lid close
event the pcm driver gives this error:

    Nov 29 23:54:22 genius /boot/kernel/kernel: pcm0: ac97 codec failed to reset extended mode (0, got 80)
    Nov 29 23:54:22 genius /boot/kernel/kernel: pcm0: ac97 codec failed to reset extended mode (0, got 80)

The audio appears to continue working; maybe the error should be an
    advisory of some type instead?
