I think I have this one sussed.

During the build world, the time on the box was modifed, by about 12 
hours.  I think this beat the stuffing out of installworld, hence the total 
stoppage on the mtree portion.  Anyone concur with my conclusion?

I've done a total cleanout and I'm starting again.
