You're most welcome.  Nevermind this, since it's easy to fix.
I'll delete any EOL whitespace, before committing it all.

I have the following in my .vimrc and it clearly marks up whitespace
at the end of a line, using bright reverse-video.

	% grep EolSpace .vimrc
	syn match EolSpace display excludenl "\s\+$"
	hi EolSpace term=reverse ctermbg=cyan

I am only being picky about details like this only to keep things like
"whitespace at the end of a line is evil" documented in the archives :)
