2.1.5-STABLE is "finished" as in lifetime.  It's culmination will be
2.1.6-RELEASE.  Then we'll start a new -STABLE for 2.2 when it comes out.

Not really, sysinstall does it for you pretty much.  Just use the
'upgrade' option on the boot floppy.
