Netware has a neat feature where you can expand a volume by tacking on
the freespace of another disk to the end of your volume (concatenation
without losing the original filesystem).  Unfortunately, there are no
tools for resizing FFS, so you /can/ merge partitions, but only by
backing up, running vinum to concatenate them, and restoring.
