However, once I get to my "share," the files that are there--and there are quite a few of them--don't list, and trying to change to a subdirectory, of which there are half a dozen or so, doesn't work. The server is NT3.5. I think I've got smbclient running okay (although I'm not sure); maybe there's something I need to ask the operator of the NT machine to do? Here's a script file from smbclient: Script started on Wed Jul 9 22:57:15 1997 andrsn:~ {1} smbclient \\\\HooWeb\\Anderson Added interface ip=36.33.0.163 bcast=36.33.255.255 nmask=255.255.0.0 Got a positive name query response from 36.33.0.85 (36.33.0.85) Server time is Wed Jul 9 22:54:34 1997 Timezone is UTC-7.0 Password: Domain=[HOOVER] OS=[Windows NT 3.51] Server=[NT LAN Manager 3.51] smb: \> ls 54216 blocks of size 32768. 31317 blocks available smb: \> cd www chkpath: ERRDOS - ERRbadpath (Directory invalid.) smb: \> cd 1990s chkpath: ERRDOS - ERRbadpath (Directory invalid.) smb: \> pwd Current directory is \\HOOWEB\ANDERSON\ smb: \> exit Script done on Wed Jul 9 23:10:56 1997 Any suggestions appreciated....
