The USB code is pretty identical between 11-stable and 12-current. I doubt =
the
problem is due to the USB code.

I think this might be related to the problem you are experiencing:

pcib0: could not evaluate _ADR - AE_NOT_FOUND

Can you try building a new 12-current kernel as of today, because there were
some recent ACPI updates in 12-current and send new DMESG.
