Now, do you have the following: 1) /etc/rc.conf 2) [...] 3) apache22_enable="YES" This is assuming apache22 is installed. As you were previously instructed, go to the /usr/local/etc/rc.d directory and check out the apache* module for the correct version. When you reboot the system, there is a print out of apache doing a sanity check. Apparently it is failing. Capture that message and print it here. You can also try this as root: httpd -k -E {path-2-file} start Substitute the {path-2-file} for the actual path and file you want to use to store the debug output. That should output any error messages to the console. Check the /var/log/httpd-error.log for any messages as well as the /var/log/messages file. Post them here also. -- Gerard http://www.river.com/users/share/etiquette/ http://www.html-faq.com/etiquette/?toppost http://www.river.com/users/share/etiquette/trumpetpower-netiquette.html http://www.neverending.org/~ftobin/resources/formatting_email_replies/ http://www.reedmedia.net/misc/mail/using-mailing-list.html http://groups.google.com/support/bin/answer.py?answer=12348&topic=250 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Godwin's_law
