Hello, First of all, these mailinglist are new to me. But I presume this = postings are being moderated so I'll just give it a try. How about the support for the VIA vt8237 SATA controller? I read in = HARDWARE.TXT of 4.9-STABLE that the chip is supposed to be supported. = However the lastest available 4.9-STABLE from current.freebsd.org = doesn't support it. After reading the 4.9-STABLE-20040328-JPSNAP.log I learned this one = hasn't been build due to insufficient harddrive space on the server. It doesn't seem like a big issue to me, for the support to be ported = (from OpenBSD perhaps?) to FreeBSD. I would really love to see it working on 4.x. So if someone would please port it, or supply me with the nessecary = information to get this working, I'd really appreciate it.
