I think you meant 'portsdb -Fu'.  The pkgtools often run 'pkgdb -u'
and 'pkgdb -aF' automatically, and a full-blown 'pkgdb -F' or 'pkgdb
-L' usually isn't required unless there is an error, although in most
cases it wouldn't do any harm.
