In 99% of all cases of this nature, "Does not matter" is usually accurate.

Dialup usually equates to dynamic DNS and IP... Therefore, your hostname
will never be fixed.  It is quite safe to make something up... But, for
your own sake, don't use something that already exists elsewhere.  The
system's hostname (as set by hostname(8)) is actually used in suprisingly
few places on most systems, compared to DNS and /etc/hosts.

When in doubt, set it to "localhost".
