amnesix# pkg_info -aI|grep apache
apache+mod_ssl-1.3.17+2.8.0 The Apache 1.3 webserver with SSL/TLS
functionality
amnesix# pkg_info -aI|grep php
mod_php3-3.0.18 PHP3 module for Apache
mod_php4-4.0.4pl1 PHP4 module for Apache

As can easily be seen, both php3 and php4 run easily and coexist happily
on my box running 4.2-Stable.
