I'm pretty sure the Darwin 7.0 SMBFS code can do this; it's derived from the FreeBSD code, available for download from the Apple site for back-porting the changes to FreeBSD, and I'm pretty sure the license was left exactly as it was when the code was imported from FreeBSD. -- Terry
