I applied this patch to my 4.7 RELEASE system, running on a dual Pentium 
Pro (PR440FX) system, and, so far, so good.  Output from dmesg available 
upon request.  I run two instances of seti@home on this machine, and after 
it's had time to run for a while, I'll report back on any improvements in 
processing speed, or problems that might come up.
