Well, now I feel stupid :) I forgot that once and a while, there is
the need to go single-user. Neither did I realize that this overwrites
dmesg.boot. But having the box up for 5 days now and dmesg.boot still being
there makes me feel really dumb :)

Thanks for pointing it out, I'd never have thought of that.
