 Howdy,
 
 I've just tried this on 4.6-RELEASE. It is now fixed. miibus.ko fails to
 load as it recognises that miibus has been compiled into the kernel. I
 suggest you upgrade to 4.6-RELEASE, if it wasn't fixed in 4.5.
