Much > easier this way. What I mean is simply to get rid of fetchsrctarball and replace the DISTFILES with that. Have makesrctarball exist along with the old do-fetch (combine the two), and there you go: makesrctarball to update and replace your current tarball snapshot, upload that, then update the distinfo etc. in the port on freefall.
