Windows XP introduced a new feature of Windows that allows a user to log
out while leaving his current programs running in the background. Another
user could then log on and use the computer normally while the first user's
programs continue to run. Microsoft calls it fast user switching (or
something like that).

Q: What is the equivalent functionality on FreeBSD/UNIX systems?
