i have this file to run every night, so i put it in
/usr/local/etc/periodic/daily ... isnt it that the cron should run it also
the way it runs /etc/periodic/daily files ?

the file is csvupfile that updates the ports collection. Also, how will i
know if the cron did run the file and updated the ports collection ?

my /etc/crontab file is unaltered and im running 4.5-stable branch
