There are some PRs with patches about this, but instead of adding yet more permutations to how the MASTER_SITES are sorted by bsd.port.mk I have requested that they be extracted into external scripts that can be replaced as desired. For now though, it's been demonstrated that there's nothing globally wrong with MASTER_SITE_SOURCEFORGE ordering as it stands, so there's no need for further action.
