If it doesnt hang, sound works. dmesg: Copyright (c) 1992-2002 The FreeBSD Project. The mainboard is an Asus P4B series >How-To-Repeat: Reboot or reset the machine several times.. the problem occurs approx. 50% of the time. There are no indications of problems when running Win98. I've had and used the card and this particular configuartion of the machine for approx. one year. It is used several hours every day. The problem occurs (tested) rebooting from 98 to FreeBSD and rebooting from FreeBSD to FreeBSD. The problem does not disappear when the reset switch is used. ie its apparently not a case of "Card in unknown state due to lack of bus-reset". I can not w. 100% certainty say anything about the behavior when the machine is powered on and booted. i simply cant remember.. sorry :-) >Fix: >Release-Note: >Audit-Trail: >Unformatted: To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-bugs" in the body of the message
