You can download FreeBSD for free from ftp://ftp.freebsd.org/pub/FreeBSD
or one of the many mirrors throughout the world.

The CD costs money and is available from Walnut Creek CDROM
(http://www.cdrom.com).  Recommended for any FreeBSD user; it's only US$30
or US$40 for a 4-cd set.
