I believe I have worked out the format and how most of it works, but there few things I really cannot seem to find out. First of all, I would like to drop the default line, and create one seperate for telnet sessions, and one seperate for virtual terminals locally on the machine. Is this possible? Is there some way I can define a "configuration" for ALL telnet terminals, and one for local VTY login? Even if there is an identifier to use for telnet, will it apply to all kinds of telnet protocols, vt100, vt220 etc etc.?? I also have a problem getting it to clear the screen. It seemes to be the cl command, but I cannot make i work. Why do I want to use it? Because I would like for getty to clear the screen after a reboot, så the screen is blank even after a reboot, where you normally is able to se a lot of info (and would this clear the log, so that num-lock wount show anything?).
