Ok, I recompile my kernel and get errors saying that pcic0 isn't there,
nor is sn0 and a few more, read the handbook, says,

"sh MAKEDEV devicename" makes it.....

type "sh MAKEDEV sn0"

get this error

"sn0 - no such device name"

type "sh MAKEDEV snd0"

pauses then gives me my prompt

"ls -a" shows no device named sn**

What might I be doing wrong, and if I'm not doing anything wrong, why
when I reboot, am I still getting the errors?

Also, why is it giving me errors for many devices I commented out of my
kernel as well as ones I've added?

Thanks for the help.
