I spoke to roh in the #openmoko channel and he told me that u-boot is not capable of using USB CDC ethernet. However u-boot can speak DFU and one can use it for writing a kernel to neo's ram and starting it afterwars. mkudfu from the u-boot tarball at least compiles fine under FreeBSD. (That won't help for qemu users though :( ) regards Marius
