In localhost.freebsd.questions you write: >I just installed 2.1.5 version. Locate does work since there is no >updatedb I used use in linux. ?? Yes, it will work, but you do need the database. Usually it's rebuilt once a week (on Friday at about 3:30 AM). If you don't have your computer on at that time, you can run it by hand (as root) when you get a chance. Mine just ran a few minutes ago. :) >How can I change boot easy config once installed? I've done this, but I'm not sure I got it right, and I don't know if I want to have you go and try stuff that can toast your hard drive. :) I'll pass this time. >Henry H Lu >http://www.tc.umn.edu/nlhome/m508/luxxx012/ -- bryan k ogawa http://www.primenet.com/~bkogawa/
