Hi, currently I'm having trouble setting up a box running 5.0-RELEASE using the ELSA MicroLink ISDN/PCI card in coexistence with my ISTEC 1003 TA. I can dial out to my ISP using one channel but then my TA won't react to give me a line on the second channel. When I call from outside I get a "temporarily not available" message on the first try. Sometimes, the second try succeeds in ringing the phone. All connections attempts are logged by isdnd. Nevertheless, I still get no line to dial out with my phone. After I hang up the isdn-connection of my computer I have to power-cycle my TA to get a line again. What's wrong here? (Besides, my old configuration (4.4-RELEASE with Teles S0/16) works still flawlessly. -- Except that its isdnd crashes when someone dials in while my new box has dialed out. NB: The old box isn't connected yet.) ##### dmesg: isic0: <ELSA MicroLink ISDN/PCI> port 0xc000-0xc003,0xbc00-0xbc7f mem 0xe0022000-0xe002207f irq 9 at device 6.0 on pci1 isic0: passive stack unit 0 [..] i4bisppp: 4 ISDN SyncPPP device(s) attached i4b: ISDN call control device attached i4btel: 2 ISDN telephony interface device(s) attached i4brbch: 4 raw B channel access device(s) attached i4bipr: 4 IP over raw HDLC ISDN device(s) attached (VJ header compression) i4bctl: ISDN system control port attached i4btrc: 4 ISDN trace device(s) attached [..] i4b: unit 0, assigned TEI = 101 = 0x65 i4b-L3 T303_timeout: SETUP not answered, cr = 91 i4b-L3 next_l3state: FSM illegal state, state = ST_U0 - Null, event = EV_T303EXP - T303 timeout! i4b-L3 T303_timeout: SETUP not answered, cr = 110 i4b-L3 next_l3state: FSM illegal state, state = ST_U0 - Null, event = EV_T303EXP - T303 timeout! i4b-L2 i4b_mph_status_ind: unit 0, persistent deactivation! i4b-L3 i4b_mdl_status_ind: STI_PDEACT: unit 0 TEI = 0 = 0x00 ##### pciconf: isic0@pci1:6:0: class=0x028000 card=0x10001048 chip=0x10001048 rev=0x02 hdr=0x00 vendor = 'ELSA GmbH' device = 'QuickStep 1000 PCI to SCSI Bridge' class = network ##### isdnd.log: Jun 22 16:38:21 quasar isdnd[1108]: DBG msg_dialout: dial req from isp, unit 0 Jun 22 16:38:21 quasar isdnd[1108]: DBG setup_dialout: entry MYISP1 ok!
