A brief summary is generally sufficient for tracking -stable. Even if
you triple your work by reading all of cvs-relevant, there's no easy
way to distinguis things relevant to -stable from things that aren't
going to be MFC'ed, leading to information overload. The net result is
the same either way - you have to go through the commit logs by hand
if you want to know what really happened to -stable.
